Privacy Policy
What We Collect
We collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, the dispute details you type into the tool, and any documents you upload (violation notices, CC&Rs, bylaws, correspondence). We also collect basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and page-view events to operate and secure the service.
How We Use Your Data
Your dispute details and documents are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your analysis and response letter. We use your email to deliver your results, send account and billing notifications, and — only if you opt in — occasional educational content. We do not sell your personal data, ever.
Storage and Security
Documents and analysis output are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Free single-analysis uploads are processed and then deleted within 24 hours. Pro users' Document Vault entries are retained until the user deletes them or closes the account. Payment data is handled directly by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
Subprocessors
We share data only with vetted subprocessors required to deliver the service: our cloud database and storage provider, our AI inference provider, Stripe for payments, and an email-delivery provider. Each is bound by contract to confidentiality and limited-purpose use.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, or delete your account and all associated documents at any time from your account settings or by emailing privacy@hoadisputeshield.com. California (CCPA/CPRA) and EU (GDPR) residents have additional rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any sharing; we honor verified requests within 30 days.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for authentication, session security, and aggregated analytics. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; doing so will prevent you from logging in or saving drafts.
