Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DisputeShield, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What DisputeShield Is and Isn't
DisputeShield is a software tool that produces informational analyses and draft response letters using artificial intelligence. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and use of the service does not create an attorney-client relationship. See our Disclaimer for details.
Accurate Information
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, including dispute facts, documents, and state selection. Do not submit content you do not have the right to share or use the service for unlawful purposes.
Billing and Refunds
A Single Analysis costs $14.99 as a one-time payment. No subscription plans are currently offered. Review the applicable Stripe checkout details before paying. For billing, cancellations, or refund questions, contact support@hoadisputeshield.com. Any statutory rights continue to apply. Your completed report is delivered on the results page, where you can download, print, or copy it; save a copy before leaving the page. Where available, you may also request an emailed copy, which is sent only to the address you enter.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. DisputeShield does not receive or store your full card details.
Delivery, Refunds and Files
Delivery: your analysis displays on screen right after payment. You can also request an emailed copy, which is sent only when you ask and only to the address you enter. Refunds: you can get a full refund within 7 days if you did not receive your analysis or the tool failed to produce one. Email support@hoadisputeshield.com to request it. Files: you may upload one HOA notice per analysis, as a PDF or TXT file up to 10 MB.
Your Right to Upload
By uploading a document or entering information, you confirm that you have the right to share it and to use it with the service.
Not a Law Firm
DisputeShield is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using the service, buying an analysis, or contacting support.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Bernardino County, California, and you consent to that venue.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the service, (b) upload malware or content you do not have the right to share, (c) use the service to harass any individual, (d) use the output to impersonate a licensed attorney, or (e) attempt to circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or security controls.
Intellectual Property
The DisputeShield software and branding are owned by us. You retain rights to documents you provide and may use a response draft generated for you in your own HOA correspondence, subject to reviewing it for accuracy.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DisputeShield is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the analysis giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost fines, fees, hearing outcomes, or property value.
