Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DisputeShield, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What DisputeShield Is — and Isn't
DisputeShield is a software tool that produces informational analyses and draft response letters using artificial intelligence. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and use of the service does not create an attorney-client relationship. See our Disclaimer for details.
Accounts and Accurate Information
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of all information you submit — including dispute facts, uploaded documents, and state selection. We may suspend or terminate accounts used to upload unlawful content, infringe third-party rights, or abuse the service.
Billing and Refunds
Single Analysis purchases ($14.99) are charged once and non-refundable after the analysis has been generated. Pro Monthly and Pro Annual subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period, except where required by law.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer or scrape the service, (b) upload malware or content you do not have the right to share, (c) use the service to harass any individual, (d) use the output to impersonate a licensed attorney, or (e) attempt to circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or security controls.
Intellectual Property
The DisputeShield software, branding, and underlying prompts are owned by us. You retain ownership of the documents you upload and the response letters generated for your account; we grant you a license to use generated letters for your own HOA correspondence.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DisputeShield is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost fines, fees, hearing outcomes, or property value.
Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Questions: support@hoadisputeshield.com.
